  • 1. Your contest rules most likely have an incorrect date (Jan 2019→ I’m guessing you mean 2020). You should start a shoe line that uses exclusively repurposed tires as tread and call them “Retreads”. Contact me further for discussion and I’ve got oodles of great ideas. I’m smart as they come and clever and creative as you cannot imagine. I also was titled an Environment Expert by the NJ Department of Education. Public schools are instilled and institutionalizing wretched behaviors in their students by the disposable lunch room place settings! This is THEIR future the schools are teaching them to DESTROY!

  • I really hate to see those little plastic dental floss things on the ground, couldn’t they be made of something that would bio-degrade?

  • Laundry strips instead of liquid detergent.

  • Dog poop bags made of some type of recycled paper instead of bio or compostable plastic. AFFORDABLE plastic free & recycled school supplies (notebook etc.). Plastic free flip flops! Affordable silicone food huggers.

  • How about a regular weight and strength aluminum foil made from recycled aluminum?

  • I can’t come up with a natural produce bag that the checker could scan through. I could make them from cotton and take the product out for the cashier to scan. It would be nice to have some kind of biodegradable window.

  • Plastic-free toothpaste and deodorant. These are items that continuously need to be replenished and we have no viable non-plastic alternatives.

  • I LOVE the hair conditioner in bar form idea. I too have long fine hair and a solid form would be perfect for traveling and back packing trips.

  • An oven, to fridge/freezer to microwave “TV tray” for busy people that want to eat healthy. It could have removable compartments to separate the cold portions from those that need to be heated. It would need to be leak resistant. Meals could be preped for a few days at a time and save time when packing lunches or making dinners for a busy soccer mom.
