  • Compostable Pod made of hemp, algae and natural waxes
  • A cleansing Lavender-Lime scent
  • Animal Testing
  • Sulphates, Parabens & harsh chemicals
  • PLASTIC OF ANY KIND!

*jar not included

alcohol ethoxylate (plant-derived grease-cutting agent), polyglucoside (plant-derived cleaning agent), amine oxide (plant-derived cleaning agent), hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived viscosity modifier), eteeproprietary essential oil synergy.

  1. Fill a dispenser or jar with 375 ml (12.7 oz) of water.
  2. Rip open your pod of concentrated dish soap over the jar and squeeze the soap into the water.
  3. Stir the mixture, cover with the lid or cap and give the dispenser a good shake. Let it sit for an hour before first use.
  4. Dispose of the pod in the component or garbage (rest assured that it will biodegrade in either). NOTE: some municipal composting programs won't accept natural waxes, so ensure yours does before adding.
  5. Squirt some soap into your sink or onto your scrubby and clean those dishes like a pro.
  6. Rinse any soap from your dishes using hot water and for the best results, dry them with a clean cloth after you are done.

Each soap pod makes 400 ml / 13.5 oz of dish soap.

Yes! It has an average amount of suds and foam - not too little, not too much.

Simply rinse out the pod, break it up and put in either a backyard compost or dirt. 1 pod can also be placed in a countertop composter such as the LOMI, and because it is made of natural waxes, oils and resins, it could really be disposed of anywhere without leaving a harmful trace. It will typically take 3 - 6 months to decompose in a natural compost pile with a good microbe mix.

These plastic-free pods are handmade in our Toronto area shop, so you can trust that not only are our employees fairly treated, they're also free to goof it up from time to time. We kept it local with getting someone in the Toronto area to formulate our dish soap concentrate, too!

Only 9% of plastic is recycled.

Apart from the 9% that gets recycled, another 12% gets incinerated, while "the vast majority—79 percent—is accumulating in landfills or sloughing off in the natural environment as litter. Meaning: at some point, much of it ends up in the oceans, the final sink." -National Geographic

Choose Organic Packaging.

Our packaging is as natural as the ingredients inside. It can be repurposed, reused and fully composted right in your back yard. Good for you, good for our planet.

Silver Winner 2021 of Packaging Innovation Awards

We Make Concentrated Dish Soap.

Most dish soaps are up to 90% water.

Why are we trucking all that water around the world, burning extra carbon and making extra packaging for something we all have at home?

Makes no sense, right? That's why we eliminated all the water and left only four plant based ingredients.

How To Use Our Dish Soap Concentrate

  1. Rip the pod open at one of the ends
  2. Squeeze the pod from the opposite end and aim the soap into the jar
  3. Shake and let rest for 20 minutes
  4. Rinse pod and compost or re-use the wax for other projects such as candles!

Free-From Toxic Ingredients.

Even top ‘eco brands’ contain SLS, which doesn’t ‘clean’ your dishes, it just makes more suds. According to the David Suzuki Foundation SLS is “... toxic to aquatic organisms.”

We eliminated all of the toxic ingredients found in generic brands, and replaced them with four plant-derived ingredients:

  •  Alcohol ethoxylate (plant-derived grease-cutting agent),
  •  Polyglucoside (plant-derived cleaning agent),
  •  Amine oxide (plant-derived cleaning agent),
  •  Hydroxyethylcellulose (plant-derived viscosity modifier)

The Perfect Eco Friendly Dish Soap

We began using Etee’s dish soap a few years ago. The first few batches we got were not the best. A couple of them leaked, some didn’t mix up right with the water and one or two solidified in storage (we live in a very dry place).

The most recent batch is AWESOME! The beeswax tube held all the soap in, it mixed up to the perfect consistency and it cleans our dishes well. I like this soap so much I included it in a blog about environmentally friendly products you can use to replace things in your home.

Thanks for continually problem solving and listening to your customers to create really great products!

Great smell!

The lavender lime combo smells so fresh and lovely, and the soap suds up well. I was so shocked by how the consistency changed and thickened after adding water. Great soap and absolutely loved that the tube could go in my compost.

Excellent product! Cuts through grease, plenty of suds. Smell isn’t overpowering either!

I know it’s intended to be dish soap but it works great as a hand soap too, all of my bathrooms have this in the bottles

This dish soap works very well

I’ve been using etee’s dish soap for about 3 years and love it. This was the first time that I’ve ordered it in lavender lime though. The scent is not that noticeable but that’s ok, it still leaves my dishes squeaky clean. The most important thing is that there’s no plastic bottle that came with it ❤️ Go etee!!!

I love love love this dish soap!

I use your dish soap for *everything*, not just dishes. It is great on dishes, don’t get me wrong, but I use it as hand soap in the kitchen because it’s gentle on my skin, smells wonderful and….well, because it’s there and why have two soaps there on the counter when you can use the one for both needs. It cleans stains from clothes and rugs too! Great product!

The best choice for me

This is one great way to cut down on plastic consumption in our home while getting a product that works for most of us. My family members complain about the lack of sudsing (even though it has improved) so I still need to add a squirt of regular stuff but truly not much. Cleans just as well as the regular stuff. I keep a spare old bottle with a measured 375mL line on it, add the water, mix the detergent, and fill my dispenser.
